[show_category_name_post_with_link_punctuation_part_of_name_and_space]

Collier Fair is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching our community by promoting education and agriculture in Southwest Florida, while showcasing and rewarding all the achievements of area youth. It is worth clarifying that they are not part of the government of Collier County or the state of Florida, therefore, the origin of their resources does not come from taxpayer taxes or government subsidies. Their money comes from the generosity of altruistic people through their donations and from what is produced by certain first-class activities such as the Collier Fair. Eleven days each spring, with quality family entertainment, providing facilities and resources for events throughout the year. The board members are philanthropists, they work giving away their time. Throughout their existence, they have given back to a long list of other charities and non-profit organizations throughout the community. Your money, everything, stays there, seeking the well-being of those most in need.

Its largest beneficiary is the Collier County 4-H Association, a local independent 501(c)3 organization, which supports the positive development of youth by providing financial assistance to a wide variety of clubs and educational programs. Collier County 4-H and Collier County 4-H Association are separate organizations. Collier County 4-H is part of the state and national network of 4-H youth development organizations.

4-H uses a hands-on learning approach to help youth gain the knowledge and skills they need to be responsible, productive citizens. This mission is achieved by creating safe and inclusive learning environments, engaging caring adults, and utilizing the expertise and resources of the University of Florida, and the land-grant university system nationwide.

Organizations like Collier Fair demonstrate, with their generosity and praiseworthy work, that there is still room to have hope for a more equitable world.
